FAQ

Am I in a MentorSEAS Family?

You should receive an email from MentorSEAS in the coming days after they have placed you in a MentorSEAS family. Please check this email before the event begins so that the transition from the Dean's Welcome to your mentor introduction and scavenger hunt is smooth. If on the day of the event you are not sure what mentor group you are in, simply show up and organizers from ESUC and MentorSEAS will take care of the situation promptly.

When will the mentor groups be walking together?

Right after the UCLA Dean's Welcome, you will be introduced to your mentor near Bomb Shelter, next to the Court of Sciences. Mentor groups then walk together throughout the scavenger hunt. When the Community Expo begins at the Court of Sciences immediately after the scavenger hunt, you are free to explore exhibiters with your group or on your own. This is a chance to meet fellow Bruin Engineers and tour campus before your first day of classes!
